This Earth Day 2025, De Montfort Academy celebrated with heartwarming enthusiasm as students from Kindergarten to Class 5 came together to honor and protect our planet through creative and meaningful activities.
Under the theme “Restore Earth”, our youngest learners—from Kindergarten to Class 2—took a green step forward by planting saplings. With tiny hands and big hearts, they eagerly embraced the joy of nurturing nature. Their innocent enthusiasm served as a beautiful reminder that even the smallest acts of care can inspire significant change.
Meanwhile, students from Classes 3 to 5 voiced their environmental commitment through a vibrant poster-making activity on the theme “Say No to Plastic”. Their imaginative artwork carried strong messages, raising awareness about the dangers of plastic pollution and the importance of sustainable choices.
The event was a blend of learning, creativity, and action—nurturing both environmental consciousness and a sense of responsibility in our young learners. As a school community, we remain committed to shaping environmentally aware citizens who will lead with compassion and purpose.
